There are days in your life you wished that you never got out of bed, well yesterday was one because West CAC travelled way up to West Durham just to lose 10-0 to Backspin B in another bad day at the office.

I have changed our teams’ names to protect them, so Declan X lost to a good Luke Brown in 4 ends, then Michael X was overcome by Alex Nicholl in 3 straight games and Alan X was beaten over 5 ends by the ever-young Bob Park, well played that man.

The rest of the night went from bad to worse for the West boys and a very good display by Backspin and they got what they fully deserved, well played lads, we must seek revenge at home, so beware.

Player of the Match went to Alex Nicholl, so well played Alex, but the performance of the night goes to Bob Park who against all odds battled to win all his sets over 5 ends, great going Bob.

The only good thing that night was seeing Debbie Irwin, thanks for her support.
