From a land far away Colin Prichard, David Flynn and the legend Big Bill Maclennan travelled to Sunderland City to play West CAC and to try to gain points for Brandon Energy. They came away with 5 points so well played the Brandon Boys.

Game started with Michael the Yorkshire Terrier continuing his fine form when he defeated David in 3 ends. Then came old Alan in an epic battle which ended when Colin took the 5^th end 11-9. Chainsaw Kelly lived up to his name when he cut down Big Bill over 4 ends, and then the old boy lost to David in another 5 ends. When is the ‘has been’ going to win a set?

Colin and Big Bill teamed up to overcome Chainsaw and Alan in the doubles, then the Yorkshire Terrier won against Big Bill, after that Colin defeated Chainsaw in 5 ends.

The highlight of the night came when Big Bill took the 1^st game off his old foe Alan, but the big shock came when plucky old Alan somehow took the next 3 ends. It made me happy for a change and the crowds were dancing in the streets.

Chainsaw beat David over 5 ends then Colin defeated Michael in another 5- ender to earn a draw for the Brandon Boys, so well played Brandon.

Player of the Match goes to Colin Pritchard who won all his games in 5 ends, so well played Colin.
