Brandon Energy entertained Bethany CF and Energy went into a 2-0 lead and Bethany won the next 2 games as they went into the doubles. Phil Bowden unfortunately pulled a hamstring  in the second set and had to retire injured conceding the doubles and not being able to play Colin Pritchard in his last game.

Energy continued to keep the pressure up and Neil Richards winning all 3 games with Colin and Dave Flynn winning one game each and with the 2 conceded games giving Energy 7-3 win which was well overdue.

All games were played fairly and I must mention a brave effort from Bethany no.1 Howard Brown who had his first match since having a hip replacement only 6 weeks ago.
