We travelled to West CA for our match against St. Gabs C and as we passed by enemy H.Q. my Churchillian speech to my brave team was we will play them on the beaches, and on the table tennis table and we give our best, and we’ll never give in.

West CAC started with Michael, the Yorkshire Terrier, being inspired by my words beat Steve Young in 3 ends, but then came Wino Whitwham who lost to the Devilish Dave Revell 3-0, I wished that I had taken notice of my speech.

Amanda Paxton came to play Chainsaw Kelly and proved that she is still a great player, only to lose in 5 ends to the hard-hitting Declan, so well played to both players. Old Wino lost to Steve, and Dave and Steve overcome Michael and Chainsaw in the doubles. Amanda showed how well she can play, when taking the 1^st 2 ends against the Terrier, who showed his fighting spirit by taking the last 3 games, this was followed by Dave taking the first 3 ends against Chainsaw.

The Old person, who will remain nameless, after winning the 1^st end against Amanda went in decline and lost the next 3 games, well done Amanda. Chainsaw Kelly then saw off Steve in 3 ends, and the last match of the night saw a strong performance by Dave to beat the Yorkshire Terrier 3 games to 0, well played Dave and his team by winning the match 6-4.

West CAC pair of Michael and Declan played very well on the night, but Dave Revell put on the Player of the Match performance, so well done Dave.
