Match Report

Its good to see clubs developing players and trying to encourage them to play table tennis as a life long sport to play and not many people have done as well as John Cook in bringing both youngsters and returners into the sport and supporting them as he brought two relative newcomers to take on the Tornadoes.

Both David Straughair and Alex Atodosier showed promise and played very well but couldn't cope with the more experienced Kye(The Cyclops) and Peter(nets and edges) for the Tornadoes. The lively attacking style of Nikolay Kirillov also was too powerful for them, which enabled Tornadoes to outpace the Backspin D but they could not take the MVP performance from John Cook who won all his singles games giving the Durham Team a 7-3 victory.

Forfeits were given against player 3 AlexAltodosiei as no registration had been received.
