It was a relatively quiet night at the Venue in Stanley when Tornadoes came to to play the Backspin D team. Unusually there were no other matches being played but plenty of support from players from other teams for the D team of Graham Alex and David. Chloe Debbie and Alex from the C team were there as well as Jamie from the A team and Luke who has played for two of the Backspin teams. Graham got off to a good start with a 3-0 win against Nikolay but Kye came back with a good win against David and then Peter with his usual stonewall tactics  took out Alex. The best game of the night was next between Nikolay and David with David taking the first two ends with Nikolay looking tired from his covid attack last week, but Nikolay came back strongly to take the next three ends. the following 4 matches all went to Tornadoes, with Graham taking the scalp of Kye(?) to finish 8-2 to Tornadoes which could possibly take them to the top of the table until the match of the week on Thursday when East Boldon(currently second) entertain Fusion(currently first)
