   Crown & Sceptre C   2 - 8   Adeyfield C 

Adeyfield C went into this match without their talisman Bruce Ghaemi available. C&S C were also having to call up Tom Masters for this match. The night started with Bob Andrews winning 3-0 against Ian Cooper, but all games were close. Adeyfield C then extended this lead up to 5-0, as John Fox won twice, first against Paul Bohknecht and then versus Ian Cooper, exhibiting a great display of forehand hits with deadly accuracy. Niko Ferdinandov also beat Tom, in between John’s first two matches. C&S C got one back, with Paul beating Niko in set 6, but John secured the win for Adeyfield C against Tom, to take POM for the second week running. A very close game between Paul and Bob ended with Paul getting his, and C&S C's, second win of the night. The last singles saw Niko beat Ian, whilst the doubles also went Adeyfield C's way, to give them an 8-2 win that puts them equal top of the table with Adeyfield B and C&S B.
