The second division is ahead of schedule in completing its league programme following two fixtures in the ‘catch up/ get ahead’ week. Rhyl B pile on the pressure at the top of the table beating Trinity B 30-8 to go sixty-six points clear. Rhyl B won all ten encounters, led by individual topping John Hughes who only dropped one game to Elliot Goddard. Elliott lost out in two five-game battles to both Fred Moore and Chris MarkeyRoy Williams took Chris Markey to a fifth game decider before losing out. Tom Henry is the new captain Craig-y-don B and after leading his team to a 20-16 victory over Y Morfa B his record is better than that of his beloved Pep at Man City. The star player on the night for his team was Dave Roe who secured a maximum. Dave Roe teamed up with Dave Strange in the doubles to land a tight five-game thriller. The closet game of the night witnessed captain Tom Henry beat George Woolley 12-10 in a fifth game decider. The two games won by Y Morfa B were thanks to Steve Davis and Mike Trbojevic both beating George Wooley, but it was not enough to win the match. 

The first division leaders Amlwch A played two catch up matches. They beat second placed Rhyl A 24-14. Paul Collins won each of his singles matches but was taken to a fifth game decider by Glen Phoenix. Both Ian Ault and Keith Williams overcame Glen Phoenix and William Panes. The best performance from Rhyl Awas three straight wins by Eliot Platt over both Keith and Ian. Eliot also teamed up with William Panes to win the doubles in a five-game encounter. Amlwch A also beat Llandudno 28-4, with another maximum from Paul CollinsKeith Williams dropped one game to Graham Heath and Andy Lunt beat Ian Ault by three games to one. Amlwch A is now sixty-one points clear of Rhyl A having played one game more.
