In the first division, Rhyl A remain at the top, this week they played two matches beating Llandudno 22-14 but losing out to second placed and unbeaten Police A 13-21. Eliott Platt won all his games against Llandudno and two against Police A where he was readily outpointed by Mark PughDavid Daniels lost to Brian Cooke over games five game and in three straight games to Marl PughDavid Daniels also came unstuck going down in a four-game match against Andy Lunt, but he prevailed in a tight five-game encounter against Steve NichollsMark Pugh secured a maximum and teamed up with Brian Cooke to inflict the first doubles defeat on Rhyl A winning in another five-game battle.

Amlwch A is up to third with two games in hand over the league leaders., brushed aside Rhyl B 30-5. John Hughes representing Rhyl B extracted a game from both Paul Collins and Keith Williams and went down 7-11 in the fifth to Iain AultChris Markey secured the fifth Rhyl B point in taking a game from Keith Williams.

Y Morfa A hold fourth position in the league despite losing 18-22 to fifth placed Henllan AAndy Horton beat both Sean Lucas and Paul Hulme without dropping a game. But he came unstuck against the improving Jonny Hughes losing out 9-11 in the fifth. Chris Henderson beat Jonny Hughes 11-8 in the fifth but from two games up lost to Sean Lucas over five-games. The closet game of the night witnessed Rob Stanway come back from 6-10 down in the fifth to beat Sean Lucas 13-11.

In the second division unbeaten Amlwch B move to the top of the table and have a game in hand of their two closest pursuers. Amlwch B comprehensively outpointed Rhyl C 30-1, with maximums here for both Reg John and Andrew Lloyd. Taylor Tabner secured the Rhyl C point by overcoming Ben Sutcliffe 17-15 in the opening game of their encounter. In a tough week for Rhyl C they also lost out 1-30 to Police B. Both Kevin Evans and Peter Roberts secured maiximums. Tom Henry produced the Rhyl C point by taking a game from Stan WanPolice B lie third in the table following two victories, the second a narrow 18-17 win at the expense of Y Morfa B. In this match Peter Roberts landed his second maximum of the week. Mike Trbojevic amassed a valuable six points by beating Alan Lavery without losing a game and by beating Nigel McLaughlin 11-9 in the fifth. He also teamed up with Steven Davies to secure the doubles over four games, but it was not enough for a Y Morfa B win.

Henllan C is up to sixth following a 24-13 win at the expense of Craig-y-don C. Josh Parry only dropped one game, Dave Strange securing the point for the visitors. Simon Harris retuning to league table tennis from a long absence beat both Bridget Prescott and Bill Wells over four games before losing 10-12 in the fifth to Dave StrangeMaria Laffey won her first league match beating Bridgett Prescott by three games to one.
