LONDON BANKS AND CIVIL SERVICE TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE – HISTORY
The league was founded in 1993 as a result of a merger of the London Banks Table Tennis League and the London Civil Service Table Tennis League. Initially membership of the League was restricted to Banks and Civil Service and associated organisations but in an attempt to boost membership, these restrictions were lifted later without, it must be said, a lot of success.
