Season 2023-2024 Review

Firstly apologies for the lateness of this report as the season finished a couple of months ago. 

HMRC - Outcasts, after catching up on some delayed fixtures, won the Division winning all their fixtures and gaining immediate promotion back to the 1st Division. Congratulations to them. 

There was a closer contest for second place with NSY Comets, Morpeth B and Good Karma B finishing within ten points of each other with Comets finishing  runner ups. 

Further down came Bishops Fingers and Beauty and the Beasts, with the former just two points better off at the end of the season. 

There was a battle at the bottom with Ex Libris needing one point going into their last game to avoid finishing bottom. Easy? No actually, as they faced Outcasts! Fortunately for them they only lost 9-1 pipping Treasury by dint of winning one more match.

Thanks to all of you for organising your teams,  I think that by and large, the Division was fairly competitive and played in a good spirit, Well done all.
