What a cracking match!

Two teams striving to early bragging rights in the Division but probably the only team happy with the 5-5 draw are Comets A.

For Castaways Neil and Johnny managed two wins each and both could easily have had maximums – Johnny especially who was 10-6 up in the fifth before he lost 10-12 and then had two three straight wins after that.

Phil had a particularly hard night. Having lost the first in five he never quite got to grips with the match and lost his other two in four.

For Morpeth there was a great maximum for Etture, a new name to this league but who has played in the Central League for a while. Wins in five over Johnny and Neil and a win in four over Phil.

Duncan was unlucky to only win one, having been in a winning position to beat Neil though was never really in it against Johnny.

Adam too had a hard night losing the first two games four legs, but then won his last game also in four.

So to the doubles where Castaways needed it for the draw and Morpeth for the win. The tried and tested partnership of Johnny and Neil managed a very tight three straight over the new partnership of Brown and Miuccio to make it honours even.
