Match Report
Undoubtedly, the B team brought in their strongest squad, namely: Allam Bhangoo, Tai Luu, and Chuang (John) Yi, whilst the A team consisted of: Ian Francis, Steve Fagan, and Winston Wong.
In summary, there were 6 five-setter, which included the doubles. 2 went to 4, and 3 went to 3-0. Due to the Abbey Centre closing at 10pm, the 9th game and the doubles were played on two tables consecutively.
Fortunately, the final match finished at 9:45pm.
Overall, it was played in very good spirits and there were a lot of games which could have gone either way. Allam was unlucky to finish without any wins.
I will let Richard to finalise the report, as he is an expert in writing. J
