Match Report
Didn’t feel like a 10-0 to the Castaways players but of course did to the Morpeth lads.
Duncan did say Castaways were merciless which we hoped we weren’t, and it certainly didn’t feel like that when Neil lost his first leg of the evening to Adam!
Six four leggers meant there were chances for Morpeth and Johnny and Duncan’s marathon could have gone either way.
Terry was the best player on the night only dropping one leg all evening.
Scott’s (Toan) game against Neil really could have gone the other way and thankfully perhaps for Neil didn’t go to a fifth.
Scott took a leg off each of the Castaways players, and Adam took one off two of them.
Still, a great opening match/result for Castaways in their annual quest to chase down Comets A.
