The circumstances of this match involved the very rarely seen situation where one team (Nordwest) had only one player (Grace Stair) on the night. 

The other scheduled Nordwest player (Rhyan Nelson) was expected to arrive and the match commenced and proceeded until all the playable games had been completed.
Unsuccessful attempts were made to contact Rhyan, but after a passage of time it became apparent that he would not appear.

League Rule 39. covers this situation and as PRO did not wish to use the option of a postponement and later replay, it was up to the League Committee & Divisional Secretary to adjudicate on the result.

After lengthy discussions, it was decided that considering all the circumstances of this match, the most satisfactory overall outcome was to let the result stand as a 10-0 win for PRO. Bonus points and players averages would be assigned as in any other match.

The committee were unanimous in their final decision. They also recorded that this particular outcome would NOT set a precedent and that if the situation arose again it would be adjudicated based on the circumstances  of that incident.
