A good, if expected, win for Castaways with a bonus of Neil’s win over Hej in four legs, only his second loss of the season and Neil’s first maximum. This followed Hej’s win over Neil and Mike when he played against Castaways for Comets B. 

Mike also pushed Hej to a fifth leg and Terry was unlucky not to get a leg against him. 

Greg took a good leg off Neil but that was about as good as it got for Comets though Richard managed a deuce against Terry and a couple of close legs against Mike.

 Castaways next match, away to Morpeth on Monday, will go a long way to deciding who gets the runners-up spot behind Comets A as a good win for Morpeth will put them firmly in the frame whereas a win for Castaways will take them closer to that spot.
