Comets A fielded Laikram Persaud, Iain Francis, and Winston Wong, whilst PRO fielded John Crawford, George Buck, and Jai Persaud. 

First at the table were Laikram vs John and surprisingly John took the first game 11-9, which caused a little stir. However, Laikram recouped himself and won the next three games 11-2 11-5 11-5.
Next at the table were Iain vs George, which Iain won 11-3 11-4 11-7.
Then came Winston vs Jai, which Winston won 11-5 11-4 11-4. Afterwards, Jai said that he only came back from the Caribbean recently, so he was still feeling a bit jet-lagged.
The next ‘order of play’ were Iain vs John, which resulted in a five-setter. John came so close of winning, but fallen at the last hurdle, losing 11-9 in the fifth game. Unlucky John!
The next three ‘order of play’ were awarded to the Comets team, all winning in 3-0. At this point, John was determined not to go home empty-handed and he clearly showed it against Winston, which went to another five-setter. In the end, Winston won 11-4 in the fifth game.
Everyone were applauding John for his determination and fighting spirit.
The final singles were between Laikram and George, which Laikram won 3-0 without breaking a sweat!
Finally, in the doubles match, the Comets team had Laikram and Winston, whilst PRO had John and George, which the Comets team won 3-1.

Overall, it was an entertaining evening and there were some excellent rallies from both sides. Although, the Comets team won 10-0 but they were not easy win.
