Match Report
Not exactly our finest (Castaways) hour!
Steve Fagan was on sufficiently good form to hit through all of us.
Pete was looking good against Steve at one point but the severity of Pete's shots seemed to evaporate.
It was a similar story when Pete played Ian as Pete seemed to be coasting
and Ian fought back to pinch the set.
Mike L was unable to repeat his 1st half performance against Winston and
only just survived against Ian after leading 5-0 in the 5th.
The difference in visibility at each end taking its toll!
Johnnie was quite unpredictable playing some brilliant points against all opposition
but lacking the consistency to have much to show for it.
A useful doubles win by Pete & Johnnie to restore some respectability.
So all 6 players registered a win and Steve Fagan
tipped the balance in favour of runaway leaders Comets.
