Match Report
A well fought draw between second and third in the table, played in a good friendly spirit.
Alex Luk was untroubled, as befits his very laid back style, though I'm sure that if Perry had had more matches behind him he'd have given him a bigger test.
Jeremy won a tight 5-setter against Oleg, surrendering a 10-6 lead in the fourth, but not repeating the same mistake in the 5th, taking the next match point to win 11-7; but lost in a tight 4-setter to Duncan.
Perry and Petko won their other two, though Duncan, despite scoring it, was absolutely convinced that Oleg had beaten Petko - although Petko had won it fairly comfortably in four!
After we cleared that up Treasury were 5-4 up going into the doubles; Jeremy and Perry managed to push it into a fifth set, but Alex and Duncan then eased away to draw the match.
Duncan had another go at trying to claim the match 6-4, but we weren't having it (sorry, Duncan!).
