A bit of an anti-climax after the hard season that’s gone before. Nat West only had three players available and then an injury reduced this to two, 

Thanks to Chris for taking a day off to play and Gareth for flying back from Prague.

The first and last games of the evening produced the only five leggers and they both went Castaways’ way with Phil beating Gareth in the former then Pete and Phil winning a very strange doubles to finish the evening!

Good double singles’ wins for both Pete and Phil and a win for Chris over Neil saved the whitewash.

Gareth was the egg winner for the evening.

So, with one game each to play it would take something of a miracle of results to prevent Castaways from finally winning their first ever title as Morpeth have to face Treasury, however the fat lady is still only clearing how throat!
