Congratulations to Morpeth C on registering their first win of the season over a disappointing PRO performance.

You have to remember Morpeth played arguably the top 4 sides in the first 5 weeks, so despite their defeat against Outcasts, this result is not so surprising.

Things looked good for Ian in the second match of the evening leading Rytis 2-0, but Rytis came back strongly winning the last 3 games comfortably.
A reversal of fortune for George in the third match, coming back 2-0 down against Adam. A revival for PRO, no such luck with Morpeth reeling off the the next 5 matches with the loss of only 2 ends.
I was a little fortunate to beat Rytis 3-0. After winning the first and leading in the second Rytis  pulled back to draw  level at 10-10.  Looking the favourite to win the second end he hit what should have been a winner only for me to return it and get a net cord and win the next point to lead 2-0. In the third end Rytis led 10-8 on his serve and again looked favourite to win the end only for me to win the next 4 points.
