Match Report
Our worst fears were realised with Treasury turning out arguably their strongest team this season resulting in another disaster for PRO, though the scoreline is not a true reflection of the match with 4 sets going the distance and two being lost by the narrowest of margins.
In fact Jai held match points against Petko at 10-9 in the 4th and 5th ends.
Also Ian came back from 2 ends down and 4-0 down in the final end to draw level at 6-6. With the wind in his sails was Ian now sailing towards victory, sadly not as a net ended Ian's resistance and Petko won all the remaining points to emerge victorious at 11-6.
A sign of the times, Petrko informs me it is the first time he has beaten Ian.
It was either that or we concede the doubles. The second end of the doubles ended 19-17 to Treasury, the longest so far?
