Morpeth A was unexpectedly short of a player and had to call on Adam Alnak (who happened to be at the venue) to fill the gap.
Thanks Adam!

A very competitive match which either team could have won and perhaps a draw was a fair result.
Alex's long unbeaten run was two pints away from being broken.
He was 3-5 and 4-6 down in the fifth against Chris.
He was unusually perspiring as Chris kept piling on the pressure.
At 10-10 luck smiled on Alex with an edge and he took the next point too!
