Match Report
Castaways needed a whitewash, PRO needed pints, any points. Unfortunately, only one wish was to be fulfilled.
Eight three straight matches were the order of the day with the only exceptions being Pete dropping a leg to Jai and Neil’s ongoing battle with John which somehow, he managed to win.
Neil had been 10-6 up in the fourth only to lose it and almost repeated the error in the fifth leg when having been 9-5 up John came back again to a seemingly never-ending deuce. John didn’t get the match point he possibly needed, and Neil finally took one after having almost had a “leg” of them over the course of the match.
So, a 10-0 keeps pressure on both Comets A and Morpeth A who are coming up on the rails.
