With team regulars Mick Hambelton and Nick Trythall on holiday, John Coleman arrived at Blue Bell Village Hall with just Bob Mahon from Rainham 5th's for company for the fixture with Boxley 2. The home side ran out 9-1 winners with Lyndon Gurr and Barry Roles victorious in singles and Doubles. John did manage to complete the seasonal double over Gary Hentschel for Rainham's sole point as he enjoyed the pace provided by Gary to find some good angles on his counter hitting. Rainham have been up near the top of Div 1 for most of the season but unfortunately lost their last 4 matches whereas Boxley will finish a comfortable 8th.
