Boxley 1 came back from 3-4 down to hosts Chatham Dorset to win this hard fought match via the Doubles to record their 3rd straight win. The visitors fielded new signing Bayo Awosanya for his league debut, and he impressed taking the Player of the Match award with victories over Julian Barker and Gareth Fox only being edged out in the 5th by Dorset's 3rd player Phil Humphries. Phil also beat Lyndon Gurr, but was denied his maximum by Gary Hentschel who also outgunned Gareth Fox. Gary had been beaten earlier by Julian 11-9 in the 5th after holding a 2 leg lead. Gareth did the same to Gurr but the Boxley Captain outlasted Julian in another 5th leg battle. A late evening with every player getting some reward.
