Two teams at opposite ends of the Div 1 table played out a very close match which was only decided just before 11pm by a 5 leg Doubles win . Visitors, Rainham 4, won this and thereby chalked up their 5th victory in 6 matches as Alan Morton once again went unbeaten without conceding a leg. He was supported by two wins for Georgi Atanasov, who was beaten in his first game of the evening, by Dorset Captain Gareth Fox. Georgi had a busy evening also playing for Rainham 1 in the Premier on an adjacent table. Gareth secured a brace as he also beat Sam Woodcock in the 5th leg (from 2 legs down), which rather summed up Sam's evening as he also lost out to Phil Humphries and Claire Blackman, but did join Alan for that all important Doubles win that secured the 6-4 result.
