2nd played 3rd this week and the higher placed side (Rainham 4) prevailed 6-4 against hosts Sturdee 2. Alan Morton gave another Player of the Match performance but was made to work very hard in his battle with Paul Willis, needing a 5th leg to achieve his 6th consecutive treble. Georgi Atanasov also beat Willis and added Nick Stokes for his brace only losing to Dan Stokes. Dan had earlier also got the better of Graham Watts as did Nick. However, Graham produced a shock, beating Paul from 1-2 down in legs. A tremendous win given their respective places in the averages. Sturdee picked up the Doubles for their 4th point on the night but 2nd spot looks like its going to Rainham if they can get  a reasonable return in their final fixture against Upnor in 2 weeks time.
