Cliffe Woods are now just 2 points behind Rainham 3 in the chase for the 2nd promotion spot in Div One following this win against visitors Rainham 2. Peter Mortley didnt drop a leg on the way to the Player of the Match Award. Alan Bridle continued his recent good form with another treble but had to come back from 1-2 down against Mick Hambelton. That was Mick's best chance of a win on the night as he also lost to Mortley and Mike Kemlo. John Coleman and Tim Davie did both beat Mike and then successfully combined to take the Doubles for their side's 3rd point.
