This match was shortened by both teams playing with only two players.  John Caplen won both his singles in beating Tony Parry and Eddie Stevens with Tony gaining 5's sole point, winning the opening game when he beat Steve Hayes.  The doubles was a close affair with Rainham 4 winning it 11-9 in the fifth.
