Northumbria League
Change of premises for Sacriston Comets. They now play in Durham City at Freemans Quay Sports Centre, Walkergate, Durham, DH1 1SW Travel to Durham City and then follow signs for Walkergate/The Sands car park. The centre is on the other side of the road from The Sands car park. If you use the former ice rink car park there is a charge. Alternative parking on the other side of the river.
Another reminder that a team can have no more than two outstanding matches at any one time, irrespective of who postpones.

Newcastle Grand Prix
This was very successful despite the loss of the top two seeds through injury. The winners of the various events are as follows:

County Veterans
The county veterans team of Jim Stamas, Jimmy Scope, Dale Aitkenhead and Karen Henry won three and drew one of their four matches in division 3A of the Veterans County Champioships. They have 7 points and their final match will be against Durham who have eight points and this match will decide the championship of the division. They beat Cheshire III 9 -1, Leicesyterchire III 10 - 0 and Lancashire II 7 -3 and drew with Derbyshire.
Cramlington Junior 2 Star tournament
This is on Sunday 3rd November and there are entries from Scotland, Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Cheshire as well as the North East. Dean Richardson is seeded at number one in the Junior Boys Singles. Please come along and support the young players. Any help in running the tournament which starts at 9.30a.m. will be very welcome.
