In the Premier Division Old England Jacks moved into top place in the league with a 9-1 win over Cramlington Stingers. Steve Penman and Neil Herrington both won their three games and combined to win the doubles. Oliver Ho who was playing up in the Premier division for the first time had a good win in three ends over experienced premier player Jake Helm. Mount A had an 8-2 win over Cramlington Casuals with Dan Dodds in good form winning all three matches. Mount had taken a 7-0 lead only for the Casuals to mount a mini recovery winning two of the last three games with Iain Wood beating Jimmy Scope and Steve Pearce beating Ant Ainley in the last game of the night in a five-end game.
In Division 1 Mount B consolidated their top place in the division with a 6-4 win over Stocksfield A. Lee Eadington was player of the match winning three games without dropping an end. Towards the bottom end of the table there was an important 7-3 win for Prudhoe United Services B over NECA B which saw the Prudhoe team move above NECA in the table. Jordan Dove was player of the match with three wins supported by Maurice Cheek and Ryan Campbell who both won two games each. Only Ken Lee was able to offer any resistance for NECA with two wins and combining with Kit Robinson to win the doubles. In a close match which could have gone either way Mount C against Ouston A was a 5-5 draw. Michael Hope had put Mount into a good position with three wins but going into the final game Ouston were leading 5-4. In the final game Karen Henry was 2-0 against Bernie Morris but was able to recover to win the next 3 ends including 11-9 in the final end to win the game and secure the draw for her team.
In Division 2 there were three games all of which ended in convincing wins for the home teams. The Cramlington Swifts team of Philip Teah-Smith, Richard Williamson and Steve Ralph proved too strong for Ouston C with a 10-0 win. Brandon Bravehearts consolidated their position at the top of the table with 9-1 win over Cramlington Reivers. Steve Pattinson and Jamie Westwater both wining their three games for Brandon with only Bernie McArdle able to secure a point for Cramlington with a win over Paul Dale. Stocksfield B had an 8-2 win over Cramlington Spartans with Pete Seago player of the match with three wins supported by Tom Manuel and Nigel Tree who both won two games each.
In Division 3 Saints maintained top place in the league with an 8-2 win over Cramlington Lions. Steve Dawson and Tom Marley both proving too strong for the Lions as they each won three games. Jon McKenna and Freddie McKenna both beat Ken Greatbatch for the Lions’ points. With Stocksfield C not playing Tyneside C moved into second place after a 7-3 win over Cramlington Dynamos. Don Catley and John Carr both won three games for Tyneside. The Dynamos points came from Daniel Gazerani Lopez and Mikey Block who both beat Ian Armstrong; and Daniel Gazerani-Lopez combined with Jonathan Javita-Calle to win the doubles.
