This was a hard fought game against the upcoming Crammy youth whom Dave Craddock delighted in coaching between points.

Jim Robertson secured a 6-4 win for Tyneside with a convincing victory over Blair Carmichael in the final game to give Jim 3 wins and the important doubles with Dave after recovering from 2-0 down.

Dave and Don Catley each beat Joe Hastings in close games. Blair and Adam Hardiman each won 2 but the in-form pairing for once lost the doubles.
