Update:
The Honey Bee Tournament for the 27th October entry has been a huge success with 30 of the Top 90 players in England attending the Band A event. Overall 70 entries out of a possible total of 75, so still a few spaces !!!
For the second Honey Bee Tournament on Sunday 15th December 2024 I’m changing strategy slightly. ONLY TT365 Local League players will be eligible. Plus there will be 3 Bands: A,B & C. Each one restricted by maximum number of ranking points a player can have to enter. Band A will be under 2600 TT365 Ranking points, Band B will be under 2300 ranking points and Band C will be Under 1800 ranking points.
Prize money will be £3,000 with £1,000 allocated to each band giving £700 to the winner and £300 to the runner up of each Band!!!
This means that a Band C winner will have nearly 2000 players on TT365 ranked above them. A real opportunity for players who have never had the opportunity to win anything before to win £700!!! A much fairer system of organising tournaments. Band thresholds will be changed regularly to give everyone a chance to really compete at some point in the season !!!
There are over 25 Leagues in the South West, South East and London area using TT365. If every League submits 3 entries (one from each band) we will fill the Tournament. So please encourage your players to enter!!!
Entry fee £35
Format – every player plays 8 matches.
Also FYI I have received an offer to fund the cost of legal litigation from a Litigation funder. Watch this space !!!
