The last notice was to say that we hoped to resume competitive table tennis on 5 October 2020. This has proved not to be possible because of the regulations regarding the pandemic and especially the added restrictions imposed on Greater Manchester ( although most of us "owd Wigginers" refuse to accept Wigan is in Greater Manchester!)

The biggest problem is the availability of premises for competitive matches and unfortunately we have no real idea when venues will come available again.

The current decision of the committee is that the League will not commence until after Christmas (remember Christmas?) but it is by no means certain things will be clearer by then.
