Important news regarding all matches played at Platt Bridge i.e. Wigan TTC.

Please read the following from Wigan TTC

Hello everyone, with instances of the new variant increasing quickly and following Table Tennis England and Government advice, we need to keep everyone as safe as we possibly can.

So the following restrictions need to be implemented from today Monday the 13th of December.

1. Wear a face mask at all times when not playing TT, unless you are exempt.

2. Keep 2mtr distance apart wherever possible - this includes spacing chairs out when watching matches.

3. Use hand gel when entering the building and moving around.

4. No shaking hands or sharing equipment.

5. All extractor fans to be switched on at all times and left on when you leave the building.

Generally be cautious about getting too close to other people, we don’t want a Covid outbreak at the club.

Can I also remind you that we need to know who is in the club at all times, both matches and practice if in the unfortunate instance that somebody has Covid and we have to inform close contacts.
