Three wins for the player with the longest name in our league, Zhelyazko Kodzhabashev, were the key to Chinley 'E' emerging as winners of this closely fought match. David Mycock's two victories, one a real close five setter with John Tonkin, were also vital. Sam Ferguson contributed one win. Mandy Parkes, guesting for Meths 'B', picked up a couple of wins and one each for Christine and John meant Meths needed the doubles for the draw. The first all female doubles pairing in the league for quite a while, Mandy and Kath McDevitt took on David and Sam and in a close five setter the girls just lost out 9-11 to give Chinley the spoils on the night.
