An excellent evenings table tennis as the Albany Florist’s Cup found its way to Keith Haslam. Congratulations Keith who was undefeated in the third and final session and finished with 125 points, 5 points clear of Rob Ferguson who finished runners-up.
Ivor Copley finished third just a point behind Rob, but picked up the trophy for Division Two champion. David Olver collected the Division Three title.
Many thanks to Sonja Ryland, Albany Florists, for again supporting this competition as well as helping to run it and present the awards.
Also thanks to all 15 competitors who took part, a useful tournament enabling a return to competitive play with just over 2 weeks to go before the season kicks off.
Next week it’s the main singles event open to all Newton Abbot players and those that regularly attend our club sessions. The Singles Shield competition will commence at 6:45pm next Friday, so make sure you’re there early to ensure your inclusion in one of the groups. ??????????
