Brendan Payne passed away peacefully in his sleep in a hospice in Dorset a couple of days ago .  He was 64. He had visited his sisters over Christmas and was taken seriously ill whilst with them.  He played primarily for  Knowle and Brislington and was a stalwart of the club for well over 35 years.  He will be sadly missed by all who played with him and knew him.  A private, family affair is being held in Dorset for his funeral ceremony.
