At the recent rules meeting a request was made for feedback from clubs on the order of play

Clubs have been asked to consider and provide the Executive with the feedback regards changing from the current format of 'Captains choice' to one of a set order as played by other leagues in the region. If enough clubs are in favour then a proposal would be put together for the next Rules meeting in February 2024 for implementation if agreed in the 2024/25 season.

This would not mean however that games could not be played out of the specified order, if agreed by both captains eg to cater for people who arrive late or need to finish early.
