Gameweek 6 Summer League Report

There’s an absolute dogfight going on for superiority in two of the four divisions as the Summer League enters its final game week.

In Division 1, the Portishead Minnows – a team made up of entirely junior players – hold a slender one-and-a-half point lead over the Portishead Bumkins. The Minnows face a tough away match at Civil Faulty, while the Bumkins are at home for their final match with SGS C.

Division 4 is even tighter, with the Portishead Sea Pickles just half-a-point ahead of Page. The Sea Pickles have to travel to the CS Longshots for their final match, while Page are at home to bottom-of-the-table SGS B.

The other two divisions look a bit more clear-cut. St George Demons have pulled out a sizeable lead in Division 2 and it looks unlikely that they will be caught. Even more clear-cut is Division 3, where the Not So Civil Servers can’t be caught, no matter what results happen in gameweek 7. The Not So Civil Servers are now the first team into the semi-finals and finals day at Civil Service on Saturday September 21st. Only the winner of each division goes into finals day.
