The fifth round of competition has been completed in the Bristol Summer League and, with just two more rounds to go, things are really hotting up.
In Division 1 the two Portishead sides – Minnows and Bumpkins – are slugging it out at the top but SGS C, Cruella Civil and Civil Faulty could all come through with a late run.
Division 2 saw St George Demons, Portishead Pedaloes and CS Youth Club all chalk up big wins to go into first, second and third respectively. Civil Service is dominating
Division 3 with Not So Civil Servers just ahead of Civil Ya, although the latter have played a game more. Nailsea could be the outsiders, although they, too, have played a game more.
In Division 4 Page are the first team to hit the 40-points mark but they have played one match more than the fast-charging Portishead Sea Pickles. St George Terrors need a big finish if they are going to trouble the leaders. It’s all to play for as we go into game week 6.
