This was a well fought and close match held at Nailsea. For Dragons, Jack Vaughan, Marian Spila and Michael Chang had to play at the highest level in order to combat the handicap advantage for Cameron Brealey, Mathew Brealey and Brian Maxwell. Going into the penultimate game News were still in front, but eventually succumbed to greater attacking ability.
