Hi All, 

The Bristol Academy in partnership with Derek Cannop from Portishead TTC have arranged the first of 3 training and competition days that will run at Gordano Sports Centre in Portishead. 

These days have been designed to offer some competition locally as the National Junior League and National Cadet league has not been able to be finalised this season and we still think it is important to have some local competition. The idea is to have some coaching in the morning from myself and Derek and then in the afternoon put this into practice with full Matchplay from players within the area who attend in a singles format. It is all very informal but there will be some prizes for the winners etc and will give players the chance to experience competition along side help in matches. 

We are aiming at the market that would normally attend the regional National Cadet League and National Junior Leagues and not above this level. We will welcome players from other areas not just Bristol so a chance for everyone to get engaged. 

The first session is planned for Saturday the 7^th December 24 in Portishead between 10.00am -4.00pm at a cost of £35.00pp and the flyer promoting this is attached and you can sign up on the following link. https://forms.office.com/r/n58mcMGdsL I am afraid that there are only 24 spaces available on the first day. 

If you cannot make this session but are interested then let me know as we can add you to the mailing list for the 2^nd and 3^rd day , these dates are scheduled for the 18^th Jan 25 and the 1^st March 25. 

To finish the season we are also planning on putting a National 1 star tournament again in Portishead on the 29^th March 25 that we hope players that wish to try a national tournament and hope to gain national ranking points will attend. We will send more details on this in due course.
