Open Veterans Handicapped Table Tennis Tournament

Saturday 23^rd November 2019

 10:00 AM   – 16:30 PM

The Tournament is based on the very successful tournament held each year by our friends at Crook (Kendal league) and the emphasis is for a competitive and social event.   

The format

A, There will be groups of mixed ability using a maximum of 4 tables - Group size dependent on entry

B, When the group stages are completed, the players will then divide into  knockout competitions, to compete in either the ” Championship”, or “Plate” competition dependent of their  final group position.

All scoring and handicaps will be based on the Kendal League (i.e.3 sets up to 11) with players from other leagues having their handicaps adjusted accordingly. (We may need to amend handicaps throughout the group stage as some competitor’s handicaps may be inconsistent with the ratio.)

Note - Players must be qualified as a veteran on the day of the tournament.

Entry is £10 which includes food and either a beer, soft drink, or coffee from the bar.

Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and refreshments will be available all day.
