Burton;
Juniors Thursdays 5.15 to 6.00pm. Fee £2 per person per session. These are open to all, not just Burton club members, so come along if you wish and tell your friends - please check first with Martin Wakelin - phone or text 07740933463.
Martin is also planning to run TTKidz events (6 sessions each) at Burton and also Slyne.
Adult Social Table Tennis at Burton Table Tennis Club
From Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, social table tennis will take place from 6.00 to 7.00, each Thursday, in the Burton Memorial Hall. These sessions are for adult players who do not currently want to play competitively but would instead like to play socially, make friends, meet people, have fun and if desired, improve their table tennis. Burton Table Tennis Club has 2 qualified coaches, Martin Wakelin and myself. I will be running the sessions on the night, supported by Martin, and either one or both of us will be available to provide in-session coaching for anyone who is interested in improving. The charge for each session will be £3 and the sessions will run every Thursday until May 22nd, 2025, other than on bank holidays etc. We will be managing the number of attendees to make sure that everyone gets sufficient table time so anyone interested should contact me on 07814 029471 or email tony@lonsdaleconsulting.co.uk. Lower Holker Hall;
THE NEW TABLE TENNIS CLUB AT LOWER HOLKER VILLAGE HALL IS UP AND RUNNING.
New tables are in situ, the new lighting upgrade has been completed.
If you just want to turn up and play, our club night is on Thursday evenings from 7pm-9.30pm in the large hall. Come along and try three sessions for free to see if you would like to join. No need to book, just turn up. (Bats and balls provided).
If you would like some coaching for you or your children we run sessions earlier in the evening on Thursdays

We will also be running coached afterschool junior sessions during term time from 4pm-5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. First session starts on Friday 20th September.
