Shottery B brought the curtain down on the 2012 - 13 season by clinching victory over Royal Mail in the final of the knockout cup.
Captain Tim Fell led the way winning all six of his sets and accumulating an advantage of 52 points in the process. He was supported by Gareth Hepworth and Tony Remes with their team finishing on 338. This was 31 ahead of their opponents who were represented by Nello Mauri, Malcolm Heritage and Wilf Chan.
The net effect of the handicap adjustments was a mere six points meaning the village team claimed the trophy by a final tally of 25.
