Henley Pasties maintained their quest for league honours by imposing the whitewash upon West Warwicks with Mike Credlamd, Jason Rainey and Tom
Having completed their first half fixtures Pasties lead the table by 13 points, although reigning champions Shottery A remain in pole position having two matches in hand. They recorded an even more convincing demolition of Tanworth Taipans, with Gary Stewart, John Price and Stephen Foster sweeping all before them.
Henley B continued their good form with an 8-2 victory over Blazing Paddles. The team demonstrated their intent in the opening set where Stuart Latham-Marr defeated opponents’ captain Nello Mauri before going on to complete a treble without the loss of a game. Robert McCluskey and Tony Seymour added braces but neither was able to overcome Mauri, who thereby earned both his team’s points, although Dave Fordham was unlucky not to add to that tally after losing out to Seymour in the only contest to be settled in the decider.
