You will probably be aware that TT365 , who host this site and many like it , and Table Tennis England have terminated their contract.
From August 1st, at 10.00 AM, TT365 will switch off their servers , and this site will cease to exist ( at best there may be some sort of legacy site, there is no clarity on data accumulated on TT365 at the moment. )
TTE have offered to provide a free league management tool , it is not a website such as this, the provision will be league fixtures , tables and results.
It will be hosted by a company called sports pad. You can see an example of one their sites here : https://sportsheffield.sportpad.net .
TT365 have made a proposal to keep their service alive. The proposal is posted above , in a .pdf format.
The Stratford league committee are meeting within the next fortnight to consider their response to these events.
Amongst the options available to the committee are;
1) Disaffiliating from TTE , and paying an annual fee of £7 directly to TT365.
2) Supporting a proposal (by the Oldham TT league) at the TTE Annual General Meeting to reduce TTE membership fees by £7 , and paying this money to TT365 via a separate membership system.
3) Stop using 365 software and using the league management tool proffered by TTE next season.
Should you have any views on the future of Stratford league table tennis on the Internet , please email me at mike.evetts@gmail.com and I will ensure that these thoughts are known at the forthcoming meeting. Thanks.
