Bexhillians Premier Table Tennis Club juniors Emily Koester, Oli Matthews and Leon Hyde who were chosen to represent Hastings and District Table Tennis Association in the National Junior League this year against teams from Tunbridge Wells, Sidcup, Surrey, Thanet and Chatham had their second round of matches on Sat 19th November at St Johns CEP School in Tunbridge Wells. Trevor Towner, secretary of Bexhillians Premier Table Tennis Club, was presented with Table Tennis England’s Pride of Table Tennis England Award for Club Volunteer of the Year by club chairman Graham Gillett (whose father Roger ran the club for over 50 years) in front of some of the clubs present members. For the 2022-23 season both Bexhillians and Hastings Academy TTC’s start time for league matches will be at 7:15pm. Please ensure you’re at the venues in time to allow for these new start times.
Hollington, Monarchs, and Tackleway start times will continue to be 7:30pm.
Due to this new variation, each fixture featured on this website for the coming season now shows an expected start time as well as the scheduled date.
We have all learned to live with Covid now and there are no mandatory restrictions. However, unfortunately it hasn’t gone away and we need to be considerate to all of our players. Therefore, with respect, we ask that any player who knowingly has Covid refrains from playing Table Tennis until they have had a negative test. This way we can all stay safe and enjoy participating in the H&DTT league.
On Thursday 22nd September, the fixtures for the 2022-23 season were officially released to the TT365 website. On the same date, the details of the 2021-22 season were archived. Apologies for the lack of any formal announcement to this effect from either the League Secretary or myself.
At the recent Hastings and District Table Tennis Association AGM, along with the normal business for this meeting we were delighted to identify Oli Matthews as the Most Improved Junior Player in the H&DTTA Senior League for the 2021/22 season. (continued)

The final of the Hastings and District Table Tennis Association Team Handicap Final between Bexhillians 'D' and Bexhillians 'C' took place at Bexhill Y.C.C. on Thursday 18th August with the 'C' side winning 5-2 (last 2 games not played). (continued)
The final of the Team Handicap Competition will take place on Thursday 18th August at the Bexhillians Club, 7 o'clock start. The two finalists are Bexhilians C, defeating Hastings Academy 5-3 in the semi-final and Bexhillians D, which beat Monarchs A 5-4 in the semi-final.
The Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held at the Hollington Community Centre Wishing Tree Road North, St Leonards-on-Sea, on Monday 15th August 2022, at 7.30 p.m.
May I remind you that, in accordance with Association Rule 9, any Club affiliated to the Association, which is not represented at the Annual General Meeting, shall be liable to a fine of £10 and that no person can represent more than one Club at this meeting. (continued)
At the last AGM there were discussions about the League format with an aim to reduce the time taken for a match to be completed. Unfortunately there was insufficient time to review options.
As this is an important issue then any changes need to be considered carefully. The Executive Committee has considered various formats and has narrowed down the options to 4 possibilities, details below. (continued)

It is with much sadness we inform you of the death of Owen Hatter last night (30th April) in the Conquest Hospital, Hastings. His family were at his bedside. Owen was 80 years old and had been in poor health for some time. He was admitted to hospital just a few days ago. (continued)
